Dave Kelchner
Dave Kelchner, 64, of Luzerne, passed away March 22, 2022. A Celebration of Life will be held from 3 to 6:00 P.M., Sunday, March 27, 2022 at the Swisher American Legion, Swisher, Iowa.
Dave is survived by his daughters, Nicki (Ryan) Bulicek, Sara (Brett) Cahill, Tina Kelcher and Tara (Mike) Toyne; nine grandchildren and nephews, Josh and Shannon Kelchner.
Dave loved the outdoors. He enjoyed hunting, trapping, fishing, camping, and gardening. He had a passion for horses. He volunteered taking children on hikes, teaching them how to survive in nature and how to identify plants. He used nature to talk about God.
Dave could talk to anyone; he made you feel loved and special. He was “Uncle Dave” to everyone. He will be missed by all who knew him.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to his family.
