Stanley Eugene Roorda
Stanley Eugene Roorda was born September 28, 1944 at Oskaloosa. He was the first child born to Vernon W. and Beulah Grandia Roorda. Stan attended grade school at Webster Elementary and graduated from Pella High School in 1962. He then was employed at Van Den Berg Electric. On December 10, 1964 he married Judith Elaine Van Essen and at that time worked in sales for Van Gorp Manufacturing. He later worked in the Feed and Grain Business for the remainder of his life.
Stan’s life is marked by a smile. He enjoyed seeing many friends while attending Third Church, collecting construction equipment, going to Branson, MO, landscaping at home, toy ministries and visiting with friends for coffee at McDonalds.
He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Judith E. Roorda of Pella and two children:

He is also survived by a brother Keith and Linda (Van Wyk) Roorda of Monroe, and a sister Gayle Roorda Stotts (Charles) of Boone.
