Wayne B. Johnson
Wayne “Weiner” B. Johnson, 67, of Springville, passed away January 29, 2022 at Living Center West after several years of declining health and complications due to COVID 19.
Per his wishes, there will be no visitation or service. Celebration of Life at a later date.
Wayne is survived by his son, Jeremy Johnson, and daughter, Jennifer Bradwell, both of Springville, and son, Corey (Chandra) Douglas of Hastings, NE. He is also survived by 5 grandchildren, 3 step-grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren and 1 on the way, and sister, Janine (Jeff) Miller of Rhodes, IA.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Richard “Ole” and Phyllis (Cooper) Johnson, and his brothers, Ricky and Lynn.
Wayne’s favorite pastimes were asparagus hunting, camping, cruising the gravel roads and drinking beer.
The family wishes to extend a sincere thank you to the staff at Unity Point Hospital and the staff at Living Center West for all their care and compassion. And a very special thank you to Kim and Kennedy for all their help.
