Donald "Mike" Michael Hull
Donald “Mike” Michael Hull, 70, of Springville passed away Saturday, January 22, 2022, after a long battle with multiple myeloma. A celebration of life will be celebrated at a later date.
Mike was born June 2, 1951, to Donald and Betty (Stocker) Hull in Centerville, Iowa. He graduated from Linn-Mar High School with the class of 1969. He worked at Rockwell Collins for more than thirty-five years with the sheet metal sector. He was a member of IBEW #1362 and numerous livestock associations. He married Kathy Fowler on December 31, 1998, and together they raised and showed horses. Mike built a registered Angus herd that he sold just prior to his passing. His passion was the cattle industry.
He is survived by his wife Kathy Hull, his stepson Terry Folken, a very special daughter-in-law Kirsten Folken and a granddaughter, who he adored, Mya. He is also survived by his stepfather Harold Gruwell, siblings Pam (Dean) Huff, Melinda Hull, Jeffrey Hull, Neal (Sara) Hull, and Jerry (Nancy) Gruwell, along with many nieces and nephews.
Mike was preceded in death by his parents, stepmother Edith, and his brothers Gary and Mark Hull.
A special mention to his longtime mentor and friends Clarence Caraway, Ken Caraway, and Dave Mitchell.
The family would like to thank Ann from Unity Point Hospice and Sandy Hester for the love and care they gave to Mike.
