Allen Donald Nading
Allen Donald Nading passed away Tuesday January 11th at his home in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. Allen was born November 26th, 1946, in Mederville, Iowa to Donald and Evelyn Nading. Allen joined the Air Force after graduating from Washington High School in 1965. After returning home he was united in marriage to Virginia Van Dyke in June of 1968. Their daughter, Sarah, joined their little family in June of 1970. Allen later wed Beverly Porter and along came another daughter, Carmen, in 1975.
A man that loved working with his hands, he could build anything. Guns and tools were his favorite creations. One of his most memorable and most loved projects was a full-sized boat that he built...in his living room. (Gotta love it!) He was a hardworking man that would help anyone in any way that he could.
Allen was predeceased by his father and mother. He is survived by his daughters, four grandchildren, and one great grandson.
He will be missed by his family and friends and remembered fondly.
