Robert Paul Ludwig
Robert (Bob) Paul Ludwig, 84, of Whittemore, Iowa, passed away peacefully Friday, February 11, 2022.
Bob was born on June 6, 1937, in Ottosen, Iowa, the son of Elmer Henry Ludwig and Grace Rose (Nellis) Ludwig. On November 2, 1964, he married Shirley Ann (Simonson) Ludwig in Algona, Iowa. The couple spent 57 wonderful years together. Bob was a Veteran of the Navy and an active member of the Seely Walsh Post #425 American Legion in Whittemore, Iowa.
Left to cherish his memory is his wife Shirley, daughter Debbie (Ernie) Bleuer, Grandsons Nick Bleuer and Andy (Sydney) Bleuer, great granddaughter Vivian, twin brother Ron of California, Jan of Des Moines, Pam of North Carolina, and many extended family and friends.
A celebration of Bob’s life will be held this spring.
