Larry L. Duneman
Larry L. Duneman went home to be with the Lord on February, 22, 2022. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, March 4th at Faith Baptist Church, 1251 Village Rd, Iowa City, IA.
Larry is survived by his wife of 11 years, Debra; his brothers Eldon (Judy)Duneman and Ron (Karen) Duneman; his children Samuel Duneman and Joseph (Bobbi Jo) Duneman, Debra’s children, Tim (Jenae) Manos, David Manos, Jess (Brad) Pearson, Aaron Manos and five grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Larry was born May 15, 1948 to Mildred and Lyle Duneman in Fort Dodge, IA. He graduated from Cedar Falls High School in 1966. He went on to serve in the United States Marine Corps where he fought in the Vietnam War.
Larry enjoyed fixing and building things and worked a variety of jobs where he was to do just that until he retired in 2013. In his free time he could often be found tinkering, fishing, country line dancing or giving tours of the retired merchant Marine vessel, S.S. Lane Victory in San Pedro, CA. Larry also enjoyed attending church and fellowshipping with other believers.
