Jean M. Wolfe
Jean M. Wolfe, 83, formerly of Worthington, Iowa, passed away on Monday, February 7, 2022, with her family at her side at Keystone Place at Forevergreen in North Liberty. A Celebration of Life will be held at a future date. Iowa Cremation is assisting the family.
Jean was born on November 24, 1938, in Hopkinton, Iowa, the daughter of Perry and Regina DeShaw. She was united in marriage to Ronald H. Wolfe on September 5, 1956, in Worthington, Iowa. Jean retired from MedPlast in Monticello. For many years prior she was the head cook at St. Paul’s Elementary School and also worked at Steph’s Quick Shop, both in Worthington. Jean enjoyed playing cards with her grandkids. She also enjoyed playing bingo, baking, and watching the Iowa Hawkeyes.
Survivors include her husband of 65 years Ron of North Liberty, son Charles (Tracy) Wolfe of North Liberty, grandchildren Dylan, Kelsey, Jordan, and Riley Wolfe, sister Marlene Chapman of Hopkinton, brother Tom (Donna) DeShaw of Ryan, sister-in-law Kay (Don) Link of Epworth, and many nieces and nephews.
Preceding her in death were her parents, brother Don DeShaw, and nephew Terry DeShaw.
