Cherry Annette McGuire
Cherry Annette McGuire, of Tipton/Olin, Iowa passed away at the age of 82 on Thursday, February 3, 2022.
Cherry was one of four children born Nelson and Ruth Geiger. With her first husband, Gene Vander Linden they had three children. Later she married Ronald McGuire. He preceded her in death on September 2, 2017. Her first job was at the A&W back when car hops wore roller stakes to deliver the trays of food. Cherry also worked several different positions at Rockwell- Collins.
Cherry enjoyed traveling, especially to places where a casino could be found. She volunteered with Animal Welfare Friends, helping foster many orphaned kittens. When her health declined, caring for foster kittens was something she greatly missed doing.
She enjoyed scones, Lindor Truffles, Turtle's, Cheez Its, and an icy cold coke.
Left to cherish her memory are her sisters Beth Herrick and Brenda Christensen, her children, Shelly Encke, Dawn Rancourt and Forrest Den-Linden, five grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.
