Brenda Kay Knoche, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, Feb. 22nd, 2022. A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, May 1, 2022 at Scott County Park at the Whispering Pines Shelter from 11:30 am – 2:30 pm.

Survived by:  Husband - Ben Knoche of Lowden, IA, Son – John (Darcy) McCaw of Bettendorf, IA, Daughter - Jaclyn Slater of Davenport, IA. Sisters - Deb (John) McGaughy of Moline, IL; Karen (Jack) Clark of Pensacola, Florida; Sandy (Ken) Benningfield of Andalusia, IL and Cherie (Ed) Oliver of Coal Valley, IL. Grandchildren - Kailee & Mason McCaw, Emily, Anna and Olivia Knoche. Stepsons: Ron (Danelle) Knoche of Iowa City, IA and Tom Knoche of Las Vegas, NV. 13 nieces and nephews and many great nieces and nephews. 
 
Preceded in death by her parents, Mannie and Beverly Birchell. 

Born Dec. 5th, 1951, in Harrisburg, PA. Raised in Viola, IL and graduated from Winola High School in 1970. Resided/Lived majority of life in the Quad City Area, in addition to a home in Fort Myers, FL where she resided with Ben after retirement. After a 30 - year career, Brenda retired from Case IH. 

Hobbies included race car driving, boating, fishing and sky-diving. Brenda loved outdoor activities. Brenda enjoyed running around with her four-legged kids, Bengee and Bailey (Yorkie dogs). She was an avid sewer, hand making many Halloween costumes for her kids and many other things. 

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Unity Point Hospice - Cedar Rapids (290 Blairs Ferry Rd, NE St 100). The family is extremely grateful for the care given to Brenda during the last few months.
