William "Bill" Robert West
William Robert West, 86 of Anamosa, Iowa passed peacefully in his sleep on Saturday, December 24th, 2022. No services will take place at Bill’s request.
Bill is survived by his children Billy Jr, Clifford, Tina & Robert; 1 sister Sheri Spitelere and many grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his mother, Hazel West.
Bill was born in San Jose, California on February 20th, 1936 where he spent most of his life. He was a man of many talents. He retired from Portola Industries where he was the head of the facilities machine maintenance department. In 2007 he moved to Iowa to be closer with family. He loved fishing and spending time with his family.
