Thomas L. Kehl, 83, of Hiawatha, passed away on Wednesday, December 21, 2022.

Survivors include his wife, Sylvia; sons, Jeffrey (Valerie) Kehl, and Michael (Chantel) Kehl; 9 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren; sister, Yvonne (George) Newquist, and Joyce (Eddy) Adolph.
Thomas Lee Kehl was born December 12, 1939, in Chicago Heights, IL, the son of Oscar and Margaret (Blank) Kehl. On June 10, 1961, he married Sylvia Pederson in Seattle, WA. Tom was a veteran of the U.S. Navy serving for 21 ½ years. After retiring from the military, he worked for over 30 years at Rockwell Collins, retiring in 2009. On June 10, 2016, Tom told Sylvia “Thank you for being the one I love!” He will be greatly missed by all who loved and knew him.
