Melvin LeRoy Randall

 Melvin LeRoy Randall, 84, of Woolstock, Iowa passed away peacefully on Sunday, December 25, 2022, at Unity Point Hospital in Fort Dodge, Iowa.

Melvin was born on October 31, 1938, the son of Roy Melvin Randall and Ruby Esther (Claude) Randall. Melvin graduated from Webster City High School, class of 1959. After graduation he joined the Iowa National Guard in 1960, where he had a very successful 32-year military carrier at Camp Dodge, in Johnston, Iowa. After his military career, Melvin ran Woolstock gas station until retirement. In his spare time Melvin enjoyed a good round of golf and being a part of the local Bowling Leagues. With being born on Halloween, it’s only fitting Melvin would pass away on the happiest day of the year, Christmas.

Melvin is survived by his brother, Gary (Phyllis) Randall; brother-in-law, Ronald Hargrave; sister-in-law, Charlotte Randall; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Roy and Ruby Randall; his two sisters, Martha Hargrave, and Barbara Leist; and two brothers, Gordon Randall, and John Randall.

Interment is scheduled for a later date at Iowa Veterans Cemetery, Adel, Iowa.
