Larry followed his service to our country (Army 1978-1982) with a varied array of life experiences: head butler/staff supervisor at a Jamaican resort, sales and advertising design in Indiana, serving as head chef of food services for a community college, and media clerk at Scott Community College where he earned an associate degree of fine arts in 1989. He enjoyed inspiring youth as an art teacher for Rockford, IL Public Schools and Cedar Rapids Community Schools, and serving the community as drawing instructor at the Jane Boyd Community House. In his later years, he worked as a professional chef at Rockwell Collins (Collins Aerospace).
Larry always seemed to have endless energy for his family and friends. He was a valued member of Radiant Church-Assemblies of God. We will miss Larry's delicious cooking and his warm smile.
