Robert “Bob” Lyle Holbrook Sr, 80, of Waterloo, Iowa, died Monday, August 1, 2022,
at his home.
He was born May 24, 1942, in Waterloo, IA, sone of Glenn and Ruth Holbrook. He graduated from Waterloo East High School in 1960.
He married Joyce Marie McVey June 7, 1963, in Waterloo, Iowa and they were later divorced. He worked for Iowa Public Service Company, retiring after 34 years of employment.
Survivors include: His son, Robert (Tania) Holbrook Jr., Daughter Kathy (Mark) Bell-Mahler; his grandchildren, Lewis (Jenna) Engle, Meghan Engle, Sarah (Abi) Durshinapally, Colton Bell.; his great grandchild Cameron Burbach.
Robert loved to watch old movies. He also loved to play golf and was blessed to be able to enjoy golfing for many years after his retirement.
