Steven Klindt, 54, of Hiawatha, passed away on Sunday, July 4, 2021, at his home surrounded by his loving family.
Steven was born on August 29, 1966; the oldest son of John and Twilla (Pedersen) Klindt in Osage, Iowa.
He loved to complete puzzles, color, exercising on his bike, living, and interacting with his friends at REM. He always looked forward to taking day trips out to eat with his family.
Left to cherish his memories is his mother Twilla Meyer; stepfather Harold Meyer; brother Kevin (Kristal) Klindt; sisters Michelle (Shawn) Selch, Christine Hansen; stepsisters Jolyn (Al) Morgan, Deb Meyer; stepbrother David (Cathy) Meyer; several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father; stepfather John Hammond; and grandparents.
Private family services will take place at a later date.
