George William Walker
George was one of my professors when I was at art school in the 70's. As time continued we became friends as we shared a circle of friends including my husband, Harlan. George was quiet in his delivery, but guided students to tools that would help them their entire lives. His bold art work was always a blessing in a beige world. What a guy.
George was one of the greatest men I've ever met. He was a mentor, fantastic instructor and great friend. Thank you for your support and guidance over the years. I will miss you my friend. Best regards to the Walker family.
I will miss his smile and sense of humor forever. Such a gentle soul. It is hard to lose our people and just as hard to lose the families. Don't be strangers ladies.
A kind honest man. My father told me years ago he took an Art Class from Mr Walker. My father was told to stick to selling cars because he was a terrible artist. I love the memories.
Dear All, Kelley and I are so saddened by the loss of a GREAT man, your father. My husband and I bought a home on the other side of Otsego Lake and we recently drove up to your parents home on the lake. Kelley will be here in mid July. If you (Mary) would like to reach out to me, you can email me @ jgrein57@hotmail.com. What fond memories Kelley and I have of both of your parents and all of you as well. Again out very deepest of sympathies. Julie and Kelley
