Dan was so respectful to me when I would reach out to him to resolve one of the many issues I had in my condo when I moved in approx 2 yrs ago. He always would work me in and find a bit of time to talk about his family that meant so much to him. Always enjoyed our banter. I appreciated all he did for me.So many people were glad he was here for us. Realize this will be a terrible void in your lives, but time will ease and one day when you think of him it will be only with smiles and not tears. Blessings to the family and friends.

Much sympathy to Dan's family. He was a classmate of mine beginning in third grade so we shared many school experiences. He was always a good guy, and I'm saddened to read of this loss.

We are so sorry to hear of the loss of your husband. May God comfort you and the family at this time. Our sympathy.

We were saddened to learn that Dan died. He was a nice man and we will miss him every time we use something he helped install and every time we break something and our go-to guy is not here to call. Blessings to you and your family as you work to find a way to go forward without his patient and gentle spirit.

Dan was a fixture here at Beaver Creek Condominiums on East Post Road. He was a gifted craftsman and as nice as you ask for. He died way too young. We are so sorry for your loss.

Lana - I'm so, so sorry to hear about Dan. He was another person who still had a long life ahead but he is in the arms of our Lord now and no longer in pain. Sending prayers to you and all the children he left behind.

I am so very sorry to hear of Dan’s passing! I remember well our baseball days…the Drake boys…such nice individuals with which to work. Sending my condolences with love! Mary Stierwalt.

Our association is saddened to hear of Dan's passing. He served us well as our maintenance man for many years. He was a hard worker, always willing to share his expertise and have a chat. Our thoughts and prayers go to his family.

I am so sorry for your loss. I loved spending time with you and thank you so much for the kindness you showed my Dad, Harold Nelson and myself. For helping him with his chores and whatever he needed. Love and lots of hug for all the family and friends that will miss you.

Dan was a wonderful guy who worked hard and helped me with farm projects He loved his family very much! RIP

Very saddened at the news of Dans passing. Dan will be greatly missed by our family and the community at Lexington One where we would pretty much all know when he was in the “hood” helping fix or redo. Hugs and prayers to the family.

To the Drake family Sorry for your loss. I had Dan do some work for me over at my condo in Lexington Green 6 and he was able to fit me in to his busy schedule and was quite willing to provide me with information. May your memories help you in the days ahead. Nancy

I am so sorry to hear about your loss. Dan was a kind, hardworking man and did many projects for me at Lexington Green 6. He loved to visit and took time out of his busy schedule to do that. Dan was the best worker in the heat he laid sod for us and in the cold he split wood! Never complained! Sure wish we could see him again! We will in the next realm of heaven . God bless his family!

We are so sad about Dan’s passing. He was always friendly and kind when we ran into him. He was also very talented. He will be greatly missed at Lexington East.

Dan did a lot of work for us over the years. I always enjoyed talking with him. He seemed to be a real gentleman.
