Cathy was born on June 22, 1950.  She served as an LPN in Iowa before moving to Redding, CA where she completed her RN Degree and practiced nursing for several years. She then moved to Reno, NV before returning to Cedar Rapids. She took great pride in her profession and in caring for others.

Over her lifetime she loved many dogs.  A meaningful accomplishment was training “Sarah” to become a therapy dog and accompanying her to the hospital for patient visits.

She cherished those times of laughter and love with her family and friends.
