Raquel Jensen
Raquel Jensen passed away at 8:35 am Sunday, September 20, 2020 and will be dearly missed by those who loved her.
Raquel has lived in many places including California, Massachusetts, Illinois, Kansas, and Iowa. She made many friends along the way.
Raquel was a beautiful, loving, caring, mom who loved to sew, and make teddy bears. She also loved gardening, crocheting and reading. Raquel was deeply devoted to Jehovah God and loved to teach others about him, in fact, she spent 35 years as a regular pioneer in his service. Two of her favorite Bible verses were Rev.21:3,4 and Ps. 37:10,11,29, which she often shared with those she met in her ministry. She was also known as a great cook with lasagna and Italian beef being just two of her specialty's. Raquel was also known for her beautiful smile and quick wit which brought smiles to others.
She is survived by Dannette Balance (Jensen), Michell Jensen, Patty Hoselton (Jensen), Mark Jensen and granddaughter Jennifer Ballance, nieces Flo Perry, Maria Perry, nephews Bill Butcra, and Glen Phillips.
Raquel was preceded in death by her husband Jens Jensen, daughter Janice Jensen, and sister-in-laws May Laino and Bonnie Phillips.
Raquel's love is alive forever in lessons she taught and in the hearts of the children she raised.
