Rodney Allen Williamson

Rodney Allen Williamson, 57, of Marion, passed away in his home on October 5, 2020. A Celebration of Life service will be held on Saturday, June 5th, 2021 at the Creekside Pavilion in Noelridge Park. Sharing time for stories about Rod will be from 10 to 11. Light refreshments will be served from 11 to 1. 

Rod was born on August 21, 1963 in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, the son of Anna Marie Drievold and Carl Andrew Williamson. Rod graduated from John F. Kennedy High School in 1982.and worked as a security guard for many years. He enjoyed spending time with his family, watching WWE wrestling, listening to a wide variety of music and playing with his cat, Stormy.

Rod is survived by his longtime companion, Patricia ‘Patty’ Mrstik; sisters Dixie Baker of Marion, Karla (Royden) Morford of Cedar Rapids; nieces Dawn Houlsworth, Elkader and Kadyn Morford, Cedar Rapids; nephew Maxwell Morford, Cedar Rapid;, great-neices Ella Houlsworth, Marion, Lily Morford, Cedar Rapids and great-nephew Keigen Houlsworth, Marion, as well as many aunts, uncles and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, parents and nephew Justin Allen Baker

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be directed to the Rodney Williamson Memorial Account at any Dupaco Community Credit Union.
