Cindy and Gail, I was sorry to read of your dad’s passing I have fun memories of him and everyone else up at Harpers Ferry! My deepest sympathy to you and your families and know you are in my thoughts and prayers. Toni Koster Krejci.
My deepest sympathy in your loss of Phil. My husband, Darrell Wiley,(deceased) worked at Universal Engineering with Phil. He spoke of him often. May God bless your family at this time. Arlene
Gail and Cindy, I was very saddened about the loss of Your Father and My good friend Phil. He was one of those special people that only come along far to infrequently in life. I always admired his attitude and he was a great help to me during some dark times. No mater how long it was between visits, he was always glad to see me and didn't want to see me go. I really enjoyed his work and family stories. He was one of a kind. Dennis
Cindy, Gail and families—so sorry to hear of your Dad’s passing. I have so memories growing up in Harpers Ferry on Pettit’s lot with your family. I know my Mom enjoyed your Mom and Dad’s friendship also and kept in touch with them after my Dad’s passing. Hugs and prayers to you all. Cindy—I am not sure if you will remember this or not but one time when I got a salted nut roll at the local Harper’s general store there was a bug in it and you told me I should write to the company and they would send me one free. I did this and they actually sent me 6 free candy bars! This is still my favorite candy bar and I think of you every time I have one! Peggy Koster Winkie
Thank you so much for reaching out. It is so hard that we cannot have the gathering we wanted to have to have for dad! We wanted to hear the stories that you have shared.
