It's been a long time Russo family. I am saddened to hear about your loss. I've thought of you often over the years and have such fond memories of you all. I'll never forget the "serious look" Fred would sometimes give us over his reading glasses when we were a little out of line. - Bob Brooks

I went to Grade School with Fred but lost track of each other going to High School. I can't remember exactly but I think they moved. Fred was a really good Kid. Heplayed Quarterback on out Sandlot football team. Small guy but very tough, he took a lot of punishment on that football team. My condolences to all his family. I liked him a lot when we were Kids.

Mike and I are sorry to hear of your loss. What a kind and generous man Fred was. I loved talking to him when we would run into each other and our conversations almost always ended up about our families. You were all so lucky to have been the recipients of that love. Best wishes to all of you.

Fred and I spent many hours together during our years at St. Pat's, sports and neighbors. Always enjoyed his company. Spent many hours at the Russo pizzia houses. The best to his family, especially his siblings.

I have never done a condolence on line. Sort of an old fashion gal. Fred was my working partner @ Twin Pines for many years. I enjoyed his gift of gab about any subject and with anyone he talked with. I will miss him terribly. Judy

I want to express my sincere condolences to the entire Russo family. I have known Fred for a number of years and have nothing but positive thoughts about him. He was a true gentleman. Joe and Jeannie I want to extend a direct condolence to each of you as I worked directly with Jeannie at Roosevelt Middle School and always enjoyed your positive energy. Joe, I will always remember our fun as kids playing baseball and how wonderful it was to have your family as neighbors. We always had a lot of fun as kids. I am certain that the strength of your entire family will provide needed support for all of you during this difficult time.

Fred was the best man at my sister's wedding to Billy Jones. She was Cathie Vrba. I was the maid of honor. We then reconnected these last few years at Twin Pines. We had some great talks. I'll miss him.
