Dorothy Jean Kraft, 93, of Marion, Iowa formerly of Lone Rock, Iowa passed to her heavenly home on July 16, 2020.
Dorothy was born on November 11, 1926 in Evansville, IN. She married Clarence Kraft on January 26, 1946. Dorothy moved to the Cedar Rapids area in 2015.
She worked for Sentral Community Schools and Exceptional Opportunities until her retirement in 1999.
She was devoted to her faith and family, loved playing cards with her friends at Hilltop Manor and her grandchildren, and was known for her homemade cinnamon rolls.
Dorothy leaves behind two daughters, Judy Ricca (Dennis) of Naperville, Ill and Joy Eden of Robins, IA; three grandchildren, Katie Lesko (JJ), David Ricca (Heather), Jenny Kearn (Randy) and eight great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband Clarence, her son-in-law John Eden and her grandson, Matt Eden.
A graveside service will be held at Eastlawn Cemetery in Algona, Iowa at a later date.
