I am also the granddaughter of Opal Lawrence, one of the sisters and wanted to reach out and express my sincere condolences to the family. I wish I could have known Mary better, but I do remember the few times we met and the great sister reunion in Seattle that Sherri mentioned in her post. Three grand ladies now reunited... Rest in Peace.
I am the granddaughter of Opal Lawrence, one of the 3 sisters. I will always remember my Great Aunt Mary. Though I didn’t see her through most of my adult life, her sweet smile is a memory I will always cherish. I remember the 3 sisters reuniting in a trip that Jean and Mary took to Seattle where Opal was living. It was a wonderful time with them...all together! Now they are reunited again, forever. Thank you for reaching out to me Karen...it was sad news but I really do appreciate you letting me know. I hope to see you again someday soon. I wish I could be there on Saturday...just know that my heart and spirit will be. ~Sherri
Bless her heart, she will be missed. I only met her a couple of times down town. I enjoyed talking to her and that infectish smiles of hers, just always picked you right up. My deepest sympathy for your family in her loss. My hugs and prayers to your family..
