Craig Carroll Clark

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Craig Carroll Clark, 73, of Colfax, IA. Craig was born in Perry, IA on March 18, 1946. He married his high school sweetheart, Karen Brewer, on December 13, 1964.

Craig was employed at Maytag in Newton, IA for 32 years.

His family and friends knew him as a strong believer and devout Christian. He was an avid collector of biblical t-shirts and sweatshirts, designed to engage someone in a conversation about Jesus Christ, his Lord and Savior. Craig had just the right shirt to wear each and every day.

In his younger years, Craig was known for his love of trapshooting and going to the gun club to target shoot. He was an excellent marksman. Craig had many hobbies, including hunting and trapping. He was also passionate about go-kart racing. He was racer # 64 and his helmet bore that renowned number. Craig was skillful in these hobbies and earned many trophies.

Above all, Craig was a very loving husband, parent, and grandparent. The love, kindness, and values he instilled in our family will remain in our hearts forever.

Craig is proceeded in death by his parents, Carroll & Fae Clark; sisters, Jacqueline (William) Deets & Joan Cochran; and son-in-law, Curt Warrick.
