Margaret Orr
Michaela, I'm so very sorry for the loss of your mother. The love of music and animals- a woman after my own heart! My deep sympathy to you and your family.
I am sorry to read of the passing of Mrs. Orr. As my shorthand and typing teacher in high school, she was always cheerful, positive, and a wonderful mentor. Her professionalism and ability to connect with students was top notch. My sincerest condolences to the family of Mrs. Orr.
I'm so sorry to hear of Mrs. Orr's passing. I had her in several business, typing, and shorthand classes at Burlington High School. She was so kind and took me under her wing. I enjoyed all her expertise in the field of business and her willingness to share it with those who wanted to learn. She was a great teacher!!
I had Margaret (then Miss Tilgner) for typing, shorthad and business class in high school. My favorite teacher, by far. She was so kind and alway upbeat with a big smile. She lined me up with my first secretarial job right out of high school. I then got to know her on a personal basis, since my husband taught with her for many years in the business department at BHS. She always asked about my children. She was such a lovely lady, and she will be missed. She will always live on in the memories that we all have of her. God bless
We're sorry to learn of Margaret's passing, but through the church knew she was struggling. Besides FUMC Debbie knew Margaret through Southeast Iowa Symphony Board where she was a passionate and consistent member. We also saw her at the many other music events we attended. Debbie's son also plays the violin and she would always ask about him; that was so sweet for a mother to hear. She was always so upbeat and happy. We'll miss her!
