Thomas Douglas Childs

Jason and Justin; So sorry to hear about Tom. My favorite childhood memories are of Grandma, Grandpa, Uncle Tom, and Uncle Richard on the farm, pretending to drive the combine, playing in the shop, riding the three-wheeler, and 'walking the beans'. I am so glad Tom had you both to watch over him. Please know I am thinking of you and your mom.

Justin and Jason, sorry to hear about Tom. He was my good friend and the best neighbor to us when we were on the farm. I will miss his wonderful one-of-a-kind laugh. We made many memories together and shared many heart to heart talks with each other through the years. When you got to know Tom he was a genuine, loving passionate person who could read people exceptionally well. My best memory is Tom in his red T-shirt riding his Honda 100 street bike to Wellsberg at night and occasionally through some ditches and fields. Boy, would he laugh a lot and then make me laugh. He would just laugh louder and more when he tipped it over. I am glad you boys are on the farm to carry on the Child’s legacy because Tom loved you and was so proud of both of you Randy Russell

Jason & Justin & Sandra Sorry to hear of your loss. I remember seeing Tom when he came to the Iowa State Fair on Woody's bus trips for the Rock & Roll Reunions. You have my deepest sympathy. Gary Dinsdale
