Michael Raymond Edwards, 64, of Monticello, died Sunday, August 2, 2020.
Per Mike’s wishes, he was cremated. A Celebration of Life was held with close family and friends.
Survivors include his wife, Linda of Monticello; son, Berkley Varner of Monticello;
siblings, Bill Edwards, Jeannie Luensman, Diz (Vicki) Edwards and John (JoAnn) Edwards, all of Monticello; also surviving are many nieces and nephews.
Mike was preceded in death by his parents, sister-in-law, Sandy Edwards, brother-in-law, John Luensman and a nephew, Matt Edwards.
Michael Raymond Edwards was born September 4, 1955 in Monticello, the son of William and Esther (Smith) Edwards. Over the years, Mike worked at Hy-Way Market, Monty Produce and most recently with Accent Construction. He enjoyed playing cards and going to Casino. Mike was a very hard worker and will be missed dearly by all who loved and knew him.
