Jean E. Tanner
When I think of my longtime friend Jean, I'm reminded of so many qualities---her compassion for others, spiritual strength, self discipline, creativity, incredible work ethic, and her "don't quit" approach to life's ups and downs, to name a few. In a crisis, we are advised to "look for the helpers," and Jean was both a helper and a giver. She made a difference, and she will be missed.
So sorry for your loss, Jean was a good friend and very supportive at our caregivers group when I was taking care of my mother.
John 16:22 “Therefore you too have grief now; but I will see you again, and your heart will rejoice, and no one will take your joy away from you". Please accept my condolences on the loss of your dear Jean. May God comfort you all with the warm memories and love that you shared. Know that Peters friends here in Virginia are praying for you all. May God bless and keep you all.
Jean's family, I am so sorry for your loss. She was a good woman. I used to have many long conversations with her when she worked at the Kwik Shop on 32nd St. Another customer, Kenny & I would make coffee in the morning when she was running out. She was always appreciative. We had communicated by email after she left there and then most recently last fall someone gave me her phone number and I called and chatted. It was a great conversation, as usual. What a special person she was. I'm sure she has left you with awesome memories with which to cherish her life and legacy. God bless and rest in peace Jean!
I'd like to offer my sincere condolences. I am a member of Jean's quilt guild. Jean was always very kind to me and my young family and we will miss her. I'm very sorry for your loss.
We are so sorry for the loss of your mother. We had many good conversations and recently, shared thoughts when relatives (Donna, Verne, and Shirley) died. Jean was a good Christian woman who worked hard. Her talents showed in her baking and her quilting. We will miss her phone calls. May God be with you! With deepest sympathy, Geneva and Andrew Yarne
