Heather M. Sanborn, 48, of Cedar Rapids passed away on Sunday, April 5, 2020. Due to state and federal guidance on gatherings due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the family will not be having any public services at this time. A Celebration of Heather’s Life will be announced at a later date.
Heather Michelle Snyder was born on February 28, 1972 in Cedar Rapids, Iowa; the daughter of David Snyder and Shelley Greene. She graduated from Kennedy High School in 1990. After graduating, she went into nursing and received her RN Degree. She later completed her BSN. Heather had a strong work ethic and was dedicated to her Nursing career.
There was nothing more important to Heather than her family, especially her three children. Her beautiful smile will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
Heather is survived by her children, Keegan Sanborn, Cassidy Sanborn, and Ellie Gatrost; parents, Shelley and Paul Greene; sister, Hayley Spencer; nieces, Delaney and Kinzlee Spencer; boyfriend, Terry Gracey; many cousins; and close friends.
She was preceded in death by her father, David Snyder; grandparents, Harold and Maxine Willis and Dick and Mary Snyder; and uncle, C. Edward Willis.
