Jay Curtis Gunn
Jim Nannette, Julie and family, We are so very sorry for your loss. I always loved Jay's sense of humor, he was a fun guy to be around and always something interesting to say, also loved his deep voice and laugh. We lived in a better place because of Jay. Always remember him with a smile and love. Our sympathy, Ed and Annamae
I was in South Pacific with Jay many years ago. He played my father and was so unbelievably kind, humorous, and gave me tips on controlling nerves. Almost 40 years later I can still hear his laugh and remember how comfortable he made me feel. Condolences to his family.
I was a high school classmate of Jay's. In fact, we were in a couple of plays together directed by Mrs. Rife. Jay was a great person. I always enjoyed his smile and sense of humor. He treated everyone with respect. I loved his singing voice, too, and I was fortunate enough to hear it once or twice throughout my life. The world is a better place because of him. I'm sorry that I will not be able to attend his funeral service. I am sending my sincere sympathy to his entire family. Bonnie Pisarik
I remember the fun I had with Jay and his brother and sister at the Presbyterian Church in Mount Vernon. Rest In Peace dear childhood friend.
I was very sorry to learn of Jay's passing. I knew him in high school. He was a great guy. My deepest sympathy to all his family.
Mr. Gunn was my 5th grade music teacher at Kenwood Elementary. I have fond memories of class piano lessons, and singing songs, such as "Follow the Drinking Gourd" in particular. You helped foster my love for piano and singing. Thank you for all you've done. You were one of the greats.
