Mildred "Millie" L. Robinson
Mildred L. (Millie) Robinson, 82, of Wapello, IA passed away on March 30th, 2019 at home surrounded by her loving family. A memorial service will take place at 1:00 PM Monday, April 8th at Papich-Kuba Funeral Home located at 1228 2nd Street SE, Cedar Rapids, Iowa. A luncheon will follow at the Bertram Township Hall, 211 Angle St. Bertram, Iowa.
Her family includes her husband of 59 years, Vernon; three children, daughter Genevieve (Charles) Wagg of Wapello, Robbie Harover of Wapello, and daughter Mary (Bruce) Button of Garrison; seven grandchildren, twenty-one great- grandchildren, one great-great grandchild, and several extended family members.
She was proceeded in death by her parents, Alfred Sumberg & Mildred & Edward Drahos, son, Vernon Robinson Jr, and daughter, Cheri Robinson.
Mildred was born April 9th, 1936, in Centerville, Iowa and her family moved to Bertram, Iowa when she was young. She graduated from McKinley High School in Cedar Rapids. Mildred married Vernon Robinson on January 16th 1960 in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. Mildred enjoyed knitting, crocheting, sewing, playing cards, and spending time with her family, friends, and dogs.
