We all love you Grandpa and thank you for everything you've taught us. I hope you are fishing somewhere on the Wapsi, enjoying the breeze of summer with Grandma and are looking back on your life to see just how you have shared love with us through the short time we are given. I believe that nothing and no one really dies, they just change. A thought, a memory, a dream, and an action makes you near. Love Justin, Ashlie, Kadance, Norah, Maggie, amd Rocky... and countless more. Rest for now and we shall make some popcorn and ice cream later and hear your voice through the glow of some foggy Christmas Eve...
I’d like to express my condolences to the DeLancey family at your loss. Continued prayers for comfort as you honor his memory in your own lives. Blessings, Charlotte Ann
Grandpa, I just wanted you to know that you’re sorely missed by all of us. It’s hard for me to imagine the house without you in it. I’m grateful for the lifelong stability and love that was always provided for me at your address. We became so close in the years that I lived there with you. Memories have flooded my mind over the past several weeks. I’m so grateful for you. There are so many positive things that I wouldn’t have it weren’t for you. I remember the nights that you’d feed Mia for me. You’d hold her and rock her for hours. You’d watch her ever so closely as she learned to take her first steps. You’d show so much joy and delight anytime you’d get to be with my kids. Ashton will carry on your memory with his love of all things World War II. Jaeden will always carry the memories of all the times you indulged in his creative adventures. Your memory will live on through all of us. We’re fortunate to have had you for so long. I know Grandma is happy to have you back. We love you endlessly and thank you for being one of the people I’ve ever known. Trixie misses her Ye-Ye.
