Charles Edwin Luke, Sr. 83, of Atlantic, passed away on Monday, January 21, 2019 at Heritage House in Atlantic.
Charles Edwin Luke was born September 2, 1935 to Roy and Winifred (Hoffman) Luke. Charles attended Grant School, Jackson Elementary and Atlantic Junior High. On July 29, 1989 he married Sandra Luke in Atlantic, Iowa. He worked for Minor Furniture Store, McDermott Roofing and Turk Roofing. He enjoyed fishing in his spare time.
Charles is survived by his wife Sandra; sons Charles Luke Jr. of Ida Grove, Iowa, Ricky Keasey of Anita, Iowa, Kevin Keasey of Atlantic, Iowa and Toby Keasey of Temple, Texas; daughters Sherry Riggs of Lexington, North Carolina and Amy Coatney of Atlantic, Iowa; grandchildren Corey Luke, Corbyn Luke, Cassandra Riggs, Chris Keasey, Amber Keasey, Austin Christensen, Dodi Jensen, Andrew Wehrli, Misty Wehrli, Paige Werhli, Samantha Werhli, Kevin Keasey Jr, Katrina Keasey and Dillian Keasey Jansen. He was preceded in death by his parents; daughter Kandi Wehrli; brothers Morris Luke, Harley Luke, Max Luke, and Bob Luke; stepbrothers Vernon Luke and Norman Jones; and sisters Jane Potter, Ruth Mahoney and Connie Runyon.
