Allen K. “Skip” Weber, 78, of Bellevue, Iowa passed away Tuesday, January 15, 2019 at Mercy Hospital in Dubuque, Iowa. Allen was born on February 7, 1940 to D. Kathleen (Kate) and Ralph R. (Beans) Weber in Bellevue, Iowa.
He attended Bellevue Public Schools and graduated in 1957. Upon graduation he enlisted in the Marine Corp and later the United States Navy. He retired from the Navy in 1976 and returned home to Bellevue. Allen was a proud lifetime member of the American Legion Post 273 of Bellevue.
He is survived by his siblings; Virginia Rieckens of Bradenton, Florida; Nancy (Arnold) Shileny of Bettendorf, Iowa; Lee (Molly) Weber of Dubuque, Iowa; brother-in-law Paul (Noreen) Hoxmeier of Bellevue, Iowa along with many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; his sisters Phyllis Cesari and Danna Hoxmeier; his brother William Jaynes; sister-in-law Ione Jaynes; brother-in-laws Richard Rieckens and Ralph Cesari; nephew Paul Rieckens and special friend Sandy Ploeger.
