Mathias Baldwin Jesmer
I am very saddened to hear of Matt's passing. As a cousin of my age we shared classes together from grade school in St Mark''s and high school at St Thomas as well as other social and family events. As kids and adolescents, we would talk about things we had going on in school and current activities. He had a great sense of humor and good insights about what was going on. After adulthood started to set in, we went on with our own lives and direction but connected again in 2016. We talked about what we were doing and so forth and he told me about his business and how he got into it and learned it. He said he learned in small steps and in listening to him, I was impressed on how he turned knowledge into wisdom which led to success in his business which, along with hard work, required a great deal of both knowledge and wisdom. He was a good man who cared about others. Our prayers go out for Matt, his wife Joan, his sons Michael and Robert and his late son Mathew. Dan Baldwin San Marcos, California
Joan, my dear! I am so saddened & sorry to read this! Here I sit in my own seclusion, wave as you drive by, but make no effort to walk up, say hello! Mathias was so good to help with”my tree” problem and it was wonderful to become better acquainted! Know that he’s at peace and that you will find peace! I will be here when/if you need!
