Leslie A. Yeager
Les was a role model and mentor to not only Language Arts teachers but other teachers at Taft. Those students who were fortunate to have Les as their teacher received excellent instruction. Les was truely a master teacher.
Yeager Family: When I worked for Mildred Middleton and Norm Felland in the Cedar Rapids Community School District I was introduced to Mr. Yeager, he was a great teacher of Language Arts. I knew Marilyn also and I was so pleased when she and Les got married. So sorry for the loss of your brother, sending prayers. Sharon (Thompson) Ullrick
I had the pleasure of teaching 8th grade language arts on the purple team at Taft while Les taught the same on the gold team. We offen worked together generating ideas and planning teaching strategies. Les was always the compassionate gentleman both in the classroom and outside school. I will miss him.
To the YEAGER family: You have our deepest condolences. Taught with Les a long time. Always enjoyed him. He will be missed. Les and Diane Santee
I had the pleasure of knowing Les while working as the Principal's Secretary at Taft. I always enjoyed our early morning talks and his homemade treats were amazing! Les had many great stories and will surely be missed! My deepest condolences to the family.
