Karen and I grew up with one house between her’stnuF9c and mine and staring in early childhood through grade school we were great friends. We both loved playing with our baby dolls and spent many hours dressing them and giving them carriage rides up and down C Ave NE where we lived. After Karen’s family moved to E Ave NE we didn’t see each other as much but Karen and her family, including her Grandma Person who also lived close by, remain as some of my best childhood memories. I pray for peace and extend my most heartfelt sympathy to her children, grandchildren and brother Dennis at this difficult time.
