Jeff Clancy

Jeffrey Scott Clancy, born July 16, 1962. Jeff spent a lifetime searching the heart of the Lord. He, by God’s precious Grace found it as he entered his eternal home on September 11, 2018.

Jeff was a loving husband to Kay for 33 years. They were married on August 10, 1985. Jeff was blessed by God and thanked Him daily for his two children; Whytne Clancy, of Spirit Lake and Chad Clancy, of Logan, Utah.

Jeff’s heart melted at the sight of his granddaughter, Emma Lynne Watts. Their bond was a true blessing from God. Jeff’s eyes would light up at the sound of her voice. He loved the times they took long walks with his beloved hunting dog, Josie. They also loved to ride bikes and play sports together. Emma said to us when she was almost 3, “How did God know you needed me so.” The Lord gave Jeff a glimpse of HIS amazing love through his granddaughter Emma. A love that will NEVER end.

Jeff will forever be remembered by his family as a man who tried his best to serve the Lord. He knew we all need to ask forgiveness for our daily stumbles and asked the Lord for His guidance for each new day. He worked hard, helped those he could in need, served the Lord with an open heart, and persevered when times were hard asking the Lord’s guidance from his knees. He was faithful to God, his Lord and Savior, his family, and his friends.

There were many worldly events Jeff participated in and enjoyed during his 56 years. We thank God for those opportunities He gave him.

Jeff left behind for now his family: Wife, Kay Clancy; daughter, Whytne Clancy; son, Chad Clancy, and granddaughter, Emma Watts, who are thankful for the time God blessed them with Jeff. His mother, Diana Clancy; sister, Belinda (Kevin) Postol and family; brother, Damon Clancy and family. Many relatives and amazing friends.

A private family memorial will be held at Grace United Methodist Church Chapel, Spencer.
