Elmer Bigger
Elmer Charles Bigger of Anamosa passed away Friday, October 12, 2018 at the age of 79. He is survived by his children Kevin Bigger (Melanie), Karen Bigger, Kelly Hall (Aubrey), and Karl Bigger (Michelle); grandchildren Kollin, Konner, Jazmine, Kaitlin, and Marcus; great grandchildren Peyton, Riley, Reagan, Kyler, Kodee, and Josie; and one sister Helen Carlson (Sonny). He is preceded in death by his parents Charlie and Ida Bigger. Elmer was a founding member of the Bow Hunters Club and a longtime leader and member of 4H. Elmer enjoyed spending time with his many friends in the Anamosa area. He enjoyed farming, had a passion for race cars, enjoyed watching NASCAR, and helping friends with their stock cars. When he wasn’t with his friends, Elmer was an amazing great grandfather who loved spending time with his grandchildren. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
