Michael “Mike” Wharton, 75, of Cedar Rapids, died on Thursday, May 17, 2018 at Unity Point St. Luke’s Hospital. Per his wishes he was cremated and there will be no services. Entrusted with the arrangements is Iowa Cremation.
Mike was born on November 23, 1942 in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. He attended Regis High School before enlisting in the United States Navy. Michael was on the USS Lexington from 1960 to 1963. He is survived by his loving wife, of 36 years, Wendy of Cedar Rapids and many loving family members and great friends.
As Mike would say, “glad you got to see me”.
