Rose Schloss
Rose (Studt) Schloss, 81, of Cedar Rapids, passed away March 13, 2018 after a lingering illness. Services will be at Buffalo United Methodist Church on Saturday March 17th.Visitation will be at 10:00am with funeral to follow at 11:00am with luncheon after. Burial will be at a later date.
She was born on August 5th, 1936 to Daniel and Viola Christensen. She graduated from Roosevelt High School in 1954. She married John Studt in July 1954, they later divorced. She later married Richard N. Schloss in January 2013.
Rose worked at Rockwell Collins for 33 years. She enjoyed camping and traveling.
Survivors include: sister Millie Hilleshiem, brother Earl Christensen, sons Terry (Janice) Studt, Dennis (Mary) Studt, Kevin (Ellen) Studt. Grandchild Megan (Brian) Lopez, Molly (Jonathan) Joyner, Chiara (Dallas) Studt, Seth (Larissa) Studt, Amber (Brandi) Studt, Abbie (Ryan) Studt, Katie (Matt) Trosky, Chase Studt and 10 great-grandchildren.
She is proceeded in death by her parents, brother Leland, husband Richard and 2 nephews, Lonnie and Danny.
Memorial donations may be directed to Buffalo United Methodist Church.
