Milo Cerveny
Milo J. Cerveny Jr., 86 of Cedar Rapids died Friday March 16, 2018 at Heritage Nursing and Rehab. There will be a private graveside service at a later date. Iowa Cremation is in charge of arrangements.
Survivors include his wife, Barbara Jean and a brother James (Janice) of Swisher. He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother Vernon and a sister Maxine.
Milo was born on September 18, 1931 on a farm near Fairfax, the son of Milo and Mildred Cole Cerveny Sr. He married Barbara Jean Hanus on August 3, 1974 in Cedar Rapids. He was a former member of the American Legion Post No. 572 in Fairfax and proudly served in the Army during the Korean War.
Milo farmed near the Cedar Rapids Airport for many years. He will forever be remembered as a wonderful husband, son, brother, and friend.
