Eldon Duane Scott, 79, of Anamosa, passed away Saturday March 17, 2018, at St. Lukes Hospice surrounded by his loving family.
A Celebration of Life will be held Sunday, March 25, 2018 from 11 am-2 pm, at Lowe Park, Marion, Iowa.

Eldon Scott was born to Iris Kress Scott and George Scott on November 21, 1938, in Quasqueton, Iowa. He worked for Laborers 43 where he retired early after a stroke.

Survivors include his wife, Evelyn, children, Laura Lee (Mike) Jones, Joe (Tammy) Scott, and Anglie (Matt) Weldy.  Stepchildren, Steve (Jan), Terry (Pam), Arnie (Lori), Dan (M.J.) Rushford, Sheree Garside, and Dawn ¬(Dan)Chapman.  Sister Zelda (Gene) Powers, sister-in-law Cheryl Scott.  Grandchildren; Christy Lee, Eric, Ashley, Tommy, Cory, and Bobbi.  Great grandchildren, along with several nieces and nephews. 

Eldon was preceded in death by his parents, son, Guy Thomas Scott, first wife Mary, sister Inez Renard, brother Tom Scott, and brother-in-law Bill Renard.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be directed to the American Heart Association.
