Burle Otto Bailey, 96, of Cedar Rapids, passed away March 26, 2018 at Mercy Hospice after a short illness. No services are planned at this time.
Burle was born December 31, 1921 in Ottumwa, Iowa to Clarence and Mamie Bailey. He married Betty Bickford in 1947 and they enjoyed 71 wonderful years together. Burle retired from Riderknecht Construction. He had 50 years in El Kahin Shrine and served in the United States Navy during WWII.
Burle is survived by his wife Betty Bailey; three daughters, Joyce Netolicky, Patricia (Lewis) Peal, Barbara Bailey (friend Diane); two grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, and five great-great grandchildren.
