Peggy Russell, 86, of Chariton, passed away on Saturday, June 23, 2018, at Iowa Methodist Medical Center in Des Moines.
Peggy Joyce Pritchett was born December 2, 1931, to Alonzo and Hilma (Robertson) Pritchett in Herrin, IL. Peggy was retired from Equitable Life where she worked as an administrative assistant.
Peggy is survived by her son David Russell of Chariton; granddaughters Heather and Crystal of Montana; great-granddaughters Cheyanne of Corydon, IA and Samatha of Montana; great-great-granddaughter Avalynn of Corydon, IA; brother Jack Pritchett of Kansas City, KS; niece Jana and nephew Michael of Kansas City, KS; and several great nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents.
Burial will take place at a later date at the Robertson family cemetery in Sims, Illinois. No flowers please—memorials in lieu of flowers may be sent to the funeral home in care of the family.
