Arleen Mohring

Jesus called Arleen C. Mohring, 94 of Anamosa, IA to her eternal rest June 9, 2018. A Celebration of Life will be held at 1 pm, Saturday, June 23, 2018 at the Lawrence Community Center, 600 E. Main, Anamosa. 

Arleen was born May 20, 1924 the daughter of Elmer and Ina Belle (Potter) Johnson of St. Cloud, MN.  Arleen married Ernest W. Mohring June 18, 1942. They were blessed with forty-eight years of marriage and two children. Her life was her family and her church. Arleen directed the Junior and Senior Church Choirs for sixteen years, taught Sunday School, Bible School and Bible Study. 

Her Hobbies were singing, sewing, crafting and traveling. 

Preceding her in death were her parents, husband, Ernie, two sisters, three brothers, several sisters and brothers-in-law and one grandson. 

Arleen is survived by her children, Katherine (Jim) Jaeger and Tommy (Kay) Mohring; nine grandchildren, fifteen great-grandchildren, brother, Richard Johnson; brother-in-law, Erving Mohring; sister-in-law, Betty Mohring, and many nieces and nephews.
