Cindy L. Jones, 64, died on July 19, 2018 - six weeks shy of her 65th birthday. Cindy passed away at her home that she shared with her daughter Amber and granddaughter Natalie for the past four and a half years. She was born on August 30, 1953 in Independence, Iowa. She will be missed dearly.
Cindy was preceded in death by her mother Zelma ‘Sam’ Sims, and fathers Loren Eddy (biological), George Van Note (adopted), and John Sims (step-father).
She leaves behind sisters Roxanne Van Note and Jean Clark; children Amber Huber and Joshua Jones; step-daughter Crystal Benevides; adopted daughter Brandi Winsch; grandchildren Natalie Huber and Casey Jones; and her beloved dog Scooter.
There will be a celebration of life gathering on Thursday August 30th from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at El Rodeo at 1234 E Euclid Avenue in Des Moines. Friends and family are welcome to attend. Food and drinks will not be provided.
