George A. Nikodim
George A. Nikodim, 78, of Cedar Rapids, died Friday, January 5, 2018 at Manor Care Nursing Home in Cedar Rapids. Per his wishes, his body was cremated and there will be no services.
George was born September 9, 1939, the son of George and Edith (O’Connor) Nikodim, in Cedar Rapids. He was married to Margo for thirty-nine years. George worked as a machinist for Goss Graphics. He enjoyed many hobbies including woodworking and the outdoors. George loved setting up a display of Christmas decorations outside the house. He was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather.
Survivors include his wife; two sons, Barry (Jacque) Hollan, Steve (Julie) Hollan; and four grandchildren, Dakota, Shae, Brody, and Dalton.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and brother, Gary Nikodim.
